The Break Before Classes.

Dear Readers,

I can't believe I am just now starting my classes.  It has been so long since I have been in a class.  Well not counting the Sprachkurs. I mean a real class.  So I start tomorrow with my really "difficult" schedule.  I am taking three for sure classes and then another language course.  I am very pleased with my selection of classes.  The University has about 100 classes that I could take (that means they were offered in English).  Half of those were classes that basic English writing or reading or something related to English as a foreign language.  I figure I would probably not do too well in those classes, so I choose not to take them.  The classes that were related to science were very specific. For example, Physic: The use of a thermodynamics through hydrotechnologies.  Yeah I wanted this to be an easy semester...

My classes are as follows:

The Wild West: Myth or Reality....Rocky said it could count as a literature if I needed it too...I don't though.
You're Kind of Cute When You're Being a Bad Boy: True Story of American Gangsters:  We watch movies.
Religion, Nature, and Environment: You just have to bs...
Sprachkurs A1.2

I only have classes Monday through Wednesday...So I will have tons of free time!!!

I had a break between the end of my Sprachkurs and the classes...We traveled.  Eight of us went and traveled to the capital of Germany: Berlin.

Berlin!!

We traveled to Berlin.  The total cost for the train and the hostel was 65 Euros per person.  We purchased train tickets for 32 Euros round trip.  Sure it took us 8 hours to get there and we had to change trains 3 different times.  But hey it was cheap!!!

I will just post pictures and describe them.  It is way easier for me to it this way...

Pictures:

Superman sign that we found at a train station in the middle of Germany.  I don't remember where though!

We have arrived in Berlin!!

Very modern Hauptbahnhof.

Right outside the train station.  We stood and theorized about it for 10 minutes...we got no where...

Our hostel was in the Russian side.  In the street there were Germans dressed in American and Russian army uniforms charging 3 euros to take a picture.  To be honest I felt disrespected.  But Go tourism... Speaking of that...Check point Charlie was a complete joke!!

One of the many churches that we went to.  I think this was the French  Dom.  It was free to go into...The German Dom was not though...I thought it was a little funny.

Looking up from the stairs of the Opera house.

More of it the Opera house.

This is the Deutsch Dom.

Selfy if front of the Opera house.

yep, more of it.

Atsushi and I on the red carpet.

Making the lion fly.

Our embassy right next to the Brand. Tor

This is one of my favorite pictures of the trip.

In the embassy.  These bears were everywhere.

Glowing face.

I am dating someone by this name...its for you!

Just the view by Potdamer Platz.

Part of the wall.  Next to the Topography of Terror.  It was a great museum...Very emotional though.

All of this was made in 1 night.  Crazy.

European Union Bear.  Lukas is pointing to Slovakia.

Cool building. Next to it was a curry wurst station.  It was pretty good.

Yeah I don't remember the name.

The German and the Berlin flag.  Berlin is both a city and a State in German.

More Statues.

You can read.

That's not a man. That's a statue.

Atsushi in front of the Bundestag. (Like the German Capitol Building.)

Just a cool shot.

The fat hen..or the German Eagle.

This where the German Parliament does all of its work!!

On top of the Bundestag...It is supposed to represent open democracy

On the roof of the Bundestag.

It is made out of 360 panels of mirrors.  It is used for lighting and heating of the Bundestag.

I though it was an iconic shot.

There are steps that wrap around the top of the Bundestag. It shows the whole view of the city.

Lets' Go Europe.

I think I like these views.

From inside the Berliner Dom.

From the center up.

Dead guy.  They had a crypt there and there were people from 1598 in tombs.  Thank God it didn't smell down there!!

So much detail.

And more...

The organ.

From the middle again.

The top looking down.

We were allowed to walk around the outside of the roof.  It is a very  great view of the city of Berlin.

And we walked around.

There were so many damn cranes in Berlin.

Overlook the city.

I wondered what it looked like before the oxidation.

And the sun will set.

Up close to the Rathaus.

Balancing act.

10 out of 10...perfect score.

Sorry it is sideways.  It is a dragon.

Really cool trains.

More cowbell

Really neat picture.
So that was my Berlin Trip.

The next day I got back, we went to a kletterwald.  It is an outdoor all natural climbing park.  It was so great.  I had so much fun.  You are up in the trees just climbing around.  You have a harness, but it is still a little scary.  The wind was blowing hard and the trees were swaying.  It was just a really cool experiences.

Check out the website:

Well that is all I have for now.  I should head to bed soon.  I wish you all a great night and until next time.

Sincerely,
